Finally some new fabrics! I've been hard at work getting the new bags ready for the Kindle DX, so the new fabrics had to take the back seat for a while. They're here now though, so go have a look! There are a few in the Original Kindle Bag and the Kindle Travel Bag, and one each in the Hip Zips and Totes. I did get a few this time that are less floral than usual, so I'm hoping you all like them!

...although I know I have a number of East coast customers that might disagree with me! Well, I promised the Kindle DX Travel Bags by Wednesday and in the Pacific Time Zone, where I'm located, its still Wednesday...just barely. I don't have pictures of the DX in all the fabrics, but you are still welcome to order them in any fabric available. Go here to check them out!
I did make a bit of a design change on this one (compared to the Kindle 1 or 2 Travel Bag). The zipper on the Kindle DX Travel Bag opens along the long side instead of along the short side like the Kindle1 and 2 Travel Bag does. I made this change for a couple of reasons, first since the bag is fairly long, I didn't want it banging around against your legs when you had it slung over your shoulder, and second, I thought that since the Kindle DX is so much larger than the original, it would be much easier to take out of the bag on the long end. I hope you like them, and I'll be getting more pictures as I get them made in the different fabrics, so you'll be able to see them! |

As you can imagine, I've had LOTS of people wondering if I'm going to have a bag or sleeve for the Kindle DX. The answer..."Of course!", although I can't always meet every request, I do try my best and I've been designing this one since Amazon announced the DX! I have designed 3 bags for the DX. Available right now are one will fit the DX without a cover (small DX Kindle Bag) and one that will fit with most covers (Large DX Kindle Bag). You can find them in the Original Kindle Bag section of the store.
The Kindle DX Travel Bag Side Zips will be posted and available by Wednesday. For all you Kindle 1 and 2 owners out there that are looking for a slightly larger bag for your Kindle and accessories, the DX Travel Bag is 2 inches longer and wider than the Original Kindle Travel Bag. A big THANK YOU to all the new DX owners who helped out with the sizing and designing. I love working with you all, it’s the best part of my job. Happy shopping! Also a note to all you very helpful faithful customers out there...if you happen to run across a bag in the Original Kindle Bag section that does NOT have the options for a Kindle DX, please drop me a note at

Are you a Facebook user? I am. I think its really fun to connect with old friends and see what kind of random things my friends choose to post. I'm not super active, (unlike my husband, who some might describe as OBSESSED ) but I do check things out from time to time and I also have a 'Friends of Borsa Bella Design Co.' page. Check it out and leave me a message if you get a chance!
If you haven't set up an account yet, I'd encourage you to try. I find it great for sharing pictures with friends and family. The best part is that you can't get in trouble for forgetting to include someone in an email because it is up to them to check out the new pictures that you post. If there are pictures or posts that you don't want your boss, coworkers, or mom to see, you can set up permissions for who can see your albums, etc.! Hope you are all having a fantastic day! |

We went to a lake about an hour away from Wenatchee and went bass fishing. Guess who caught the largest small mouth bass I have ever seen? My 5 year old fisherman, Tyler. I have it all on video too. He was hooping and hollering like most grown fisherman do when a fish is on. :) The cutest thing is when he called his Booma (my mom) she asked how much it weighed and he said, "...30 pounds"! My husband was so proud...a great fisherman in the making.
The new DX bag is just needing some minor tweaks and then it will be ready to purchase. Sign up for my newsletter and you'll be the first to know when it's available.
