I was so excited when I was asked to be in this years Better Homes and Garden Online Gift Guide.  At first I was thinking it was a cruel joke but then when it all checked out...happy dance time!!!  I can't wait to see what the final gift guide looks like.  I do hope they have some ideas for men.  They are so stinking hard to buy for.  Unless of course you have a big bucks and can buy some expensive electronic gadget for them.

I did find a great little business that makes these outdoor blankets.  Whether it's for a picnic, boating or watching soccer in the rain.  I go to a ton of outside sporting events...mostly to watch my 11 year old son play soccer.  So, I bought one of these blankets.  It's waterproof, windproof and super warm!  I have only had it for 2 weeks and I have used it 6 times!  I stayed warm and dry and everyone I was sitting next too was asked for their website.  I have just bought two for Christmas gifts for two very hard to find gifts for guys!  If you want to check them out for yourself they are called Mambe Blankets.  They are made here in Washington State...GO USA made!!!  (I have to giggle, I reread this and it totally looks like a paid advertisement.  I feel compelled to tell you I received nothing in return for this post.) :)  Too funny!!!!

I hope you are all enjoying my favorite month of October.  I have a lot of loved ones who were born in October including my son who will be 8.  We hope to head to the pumpkin patch this weekend.  It's priceless watching my 11 year old almost gag from cleaning the inside of his pumpkin out.  I doubt a medical career is in his future.

Unbelievable!  I was so surprised, there were some amazing people up for this award from GWATA.  I hope to get the video that GWATA did that showed me talking about Borsa Bella and how I started it all.  It was all such a great experience and at the end of the day I have a pretty fancy trophy now.  My hockey friends even gota table at this lunch to show support.  It was so nice to see them in the crowd.  My parents came all the way to Wenatchee as well.  I love what I do, I am so blessed!

Okay, they are here...the new fabrics.  I love getting fabric in the mail and my kids love it when I get them too.  They know how happy it makes me and how I will say yes to just about anything they ask during fabric days.  Well here they are, I hope you like them as much as I do.

Other exciting news is I was nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year through GWATA.  I'll find out later this month if I won...I am in the top three.  I was just thrilled to be nominated.
