New Bags
New Bags (5)
I am so excited that the ebook reader by Barnes and Noble called the Nook, is so very close in size to the Kindle 2 that I won't need to change the size of the bags. The difference is .3" x .4" x .1"!! Notice the 'point'? It's not even a full half inch in difference. I am so excited about this. (The photo was provided by Barnes and Noble Website.) I personally won't be switching from my Kindle 2, not because I think the Nook doesn't have some really cool features (and it does) but because the Kindle 2 does everything I need it too...and it's paid for. :)
I am currently reading True Blue by David Baldacci. It's very entertaining. I won't give my rating yet though since so many times the ending is what 'makes the book' in this genre and I am not there yet. :)
Have a great week everyone!!!
I have seen an increase in sales begin. I am so glad customers are thinking of ordering early for Christmas. I would love to keep getting these early orders to ensure you'll get them in time for gift giving. As many of you know I mail out items within 24-48 hours after ordering them. Sometimes same day, if the mail lady hasn't come yet. :) Special orders are still welcome but if things start getting so busy I might have to quit accepting them until January. I'll let you know if that should happen.
I received this great picture from a customer showing off the new African Fabrics. Thank you Juli! I love green!!!
Just a quick note to let you all know that the new cosmetics bags that will benefit Faces For Hope are now posted HERE. You can also type 'faces' in the search bar to see them all!
I have been busy working with an organization called Faces 4 Hope. They are a non-profit organization that started here in Wenatchee, which helps women in Maasai, South Africa. There are over 800,000 in population! I would encourage you to visit their website. Some of the leaders for Faces4Hope brought back some beautiful fabric which I have made Cosmetic Bags out of. I was so impressed with these fabrics. They are beautiful!!! All the proceeds will go to this organization so they can continue their amazing work. I hope to get them on the website in the next day or two.

The one pictured is the August Fields Print. My wonderful customers are also keeping me busy sewing the Travel Bags for the Kindle 1 and 2 (as seen in the Twilight fabric picture) and the Travel Bag for the DX. I have found many of you buy the DX Travel bag for you Kindle 1 or 2 because it gives you more room for wallets and other needed items. I was surprised how many people own small laptops, because these DX bags fit those as well. As many of you already know I am very fast with shipping. Almost, everything in my shop ships next business day...that includes the Medium Hobo bags. I have been sewing during all my spare time so I can offer this. Also, shipping is only $6.25 for handbags and purses and $2.25 for gadget bags, wristlets and other small accessories. I don't charge anymore for multiple items shipped either, so stock up! :) I hope you all have a wonderful week. It's going to be cold in Wenatchee, Washington. :) |
