img_0329 customI have a lot of people ask me about my logo and where it came from.  Well, a man by the name of Chester Ferrell designed it for me.  He is an amazing artist, teacher, father and I would have to add comedian to that as well.  I first met Chester when he became Jonah's 1st grade teacher.  Chester still remains my son's favorite teacher of all time...and I doubt it will ever change.  He is so animated and would come up with fun and exciting ways to teach.  As a parent it would not suprise me to walk into his class to help and find him dressed up in a 'Zero the Hero' costume.  During Parent Nights when the kids would perform some kind of musical performance, I would find Mr. Ferrell completely dressed up as Elvis Presily (voice and all) leading the 1st graders in a dance and musical performance of Blue Swede Shoes.  His first love (outside his family of 5) is art!  Once at the  public library with the boys, Jonah comes up to me with an Art Book and started telling me the names of all of his favorite impressionistic artists and showing me their work.  My mouth dropped and we sat for an hour talking about this book and art.  To this day, Jonah loves art!  He also drew a self-portrait of Jonah and I to say thank you for helping in his classroom.  Jonah thought he traced it, it was so good. If you would like to see some of Chester's art work or contact him you can find him here. If you ever get the chance to work with him...enjoy!
