I have been getting my new fabrics as many of you have seen and bought. It's like Christmas when the UPS guy shows up with boxes full of fabric. My kids know they can ask for just about anything on days like that and the chance of them getting it is pretty good.
Last fall a whole bunch of the women from my hockey team drove to Spokane to see the USA vs. Canada Women's Hockey game. The USA team came up a bit short that night, but we all had a great time and really enjoyed watching hockey at that level! Those girls are AMAZING! The majority of my women's team (including me) started playing hockey as adults. We missed all those years playing youth hockey, but we still have a great time on the ice, and as long as we don't watch any videos of our games, we can imagine that we look just like those girls from Team USA!

On our way into the Arena someone noticed that EVERY single one of us had a Borsa Bella bag! We decided it was a picture worthy occasion. That's me standing on the left and my webmaster (and friend), Amy right next to me!
I love it when customers send me their photos. Here are just a few of the great combinations. The only trouble is it makes me want to buy more covers and skin's. You are all a bad influence on me.

I also want to say a big THANK YOU for all the advertising and referrals. I see wonderful reviews written on blogs, Kindleboards, NookBoards, websites and so many other places. I can't thank you enough for the 'word of mouth' advertising you all provide to me. My little business has grown over the last year and it's all because of you, my customers! THANK YOU!!!!!
WOW! I thought I was busy before Christmas. I am even busier now. Thank you to all of my new and repeat customers. You have kept me very busy.
If there is a fabric you are wanting you better get it now. I am low on lots of different prints and won't be reordering the same prints, but new ones.
I had an amazing Christmas with my family this year. I can't tell you how cool it was to wake up Christmas morning knowing just how many of you were opening up your Borsa Bella Bags for Christmas. That is a great feeling. I had many husbands buy and even one that sent me a Navy Shirt to make into a Travel Bag for his wife who is in the Navy. I was quite impressed.

For those of you that would like your Borsa Bella Bag to get to you by Christmas please make sure your orders are in by Sunday. I am offering a free shipping upgrade to US Priority Mail (USA customers only). (I cannot guarantee how long it takes the US Post Office once it leaves my hands, but Priority takes 2-3 days for delivery.)
If you are local and would like to see my bags in person I am now at Etcetera, which is on 28 N Wenatchee Avenue and the American Shoe Shop, also on Wenatchee Avenue.
Thank you to all my amazing customers!
I know I really appreciate seeing what others are giving as gifts this year. We all have so many people to buy for and their ages and tastes are so different. My hardest to buy for is my dad! He golfs and loves the Seattle Seahawks...after 35 years I am out of ideas. So, let me know if you think of anything.

My first thing on my lists are my son's teachers. They will be getting totes this year from Borsa Bella of course.
What woman wouldn’t be complete without the perfect tote? Whether it’s a tote for beach towels, vegetables from the farmer’s market, or an overnight adventure, this tote is the perfect solution. The spacious interior combines practicality and style for a perfect accessory to any outfit or outing. We have been told by customers that this bag makes a perfect gift for that person on your list that has everything- including a great sense of style. Who couldn’t use a little more room?

My next gift giving idea is for little ones. I found Evgie's a shop on Etsy that sews hand felted letters and numbers. I wish my boys were younger I would have loved these for teaching numbers and letters...not to mention they could be handed down. I am a sucker for that kind of stuff.

Now for that lady who has everything...ironing board covers. I know it sounds boring but you should see what City Chic and County Mouse has before dismissing this idea. They make ironing fun! I had them make me a custom one since my ironing board is so big. Excellent quality and great ladies to work with. I love their prints!
Have a great time shopping!
I am so excited that the ebook reader by Barnes and Noble called the Nook, is so very close in size to the Kindle 2 that I won't need to change the size of the bags. The difference is .3" x .4" x .1"!! Notice the 'point'? It's not even a full half inch in difference. I am so excited about this. (The photo was provided by Barnes and Noble Website.) I personally won't be switching from my Kindle 2, not because I think the Nook doesn't have some really cool features (and it does) but because the Kindle 2 does everything I need it too...and it's paid for. :)
I am currently reading True Blue by David Baldacci. It's very entertaining. I won't give my rating yet though since so many times the ending is what 'makes the book' in this genre and I am not there yet. :)
Have a great week everyone!!!
I have seen an increase in sales begin. I am so glad customers are thinking of ordering early for Christmas. I would love to keep getting these early orders to ensure you'll get them in time for gift giving. As many of you know I mail out items within 24-48 hours after ordering them. Sometimes same day, if the mail lady hasn't come yet. :) Special orders are still welcome but if things start getting so busy I might have to quit accepting them until January. I'll let you know if that should happen.
I received this great picture from a customer showing off the new African Fabrics. Thank you Juli! I love green!!!
Just a quick note to let you all know that the new cosmetics bags that will benefit Faces For Hope are now posted HERE. You can also type 'faces' in the search bar to see them all!
